Fore Fun Golf was formed on May 20, 2024 during lunch at Tita Mia's Filipino Restaurant in Glenview, Illinois. An outing at the Heritage Oaks Golf Club in Northbrook, Illinois was rained out, thus six able gentlemen proceeded to gather at the above-referenced restaurant. It was a casual lunch and usual golf conversation when Ed Martin suggested that we should have a name for our group. It was unanimously agreed to organize a golf club among ourselves effectively. Everyone suggested a name then we decisively agreed on one, hence Fore Fun Golf was created. To further legitimize its existence, Expo P. Taghap volunteered to register the said club with the Illinois Secretary of State Office. This was also unanimously agreed. On the other hand, with his possessed wisdom, Randy Roxas quietly proceeded to search for the possibility of securing a proprietary website domain; subsequently, this website came into existence. Charter members and recruits of the newly organized club are emphatic of the following ideals: Friendship, Fun & Transparency!!!
Augie Bautista came up with the Mission Statement that is adopted by Fore Fun Golf Inc.
We at Fore Fun Golf are sworn to make the game of golf more enjoyable for all the members and guests. No member will go home disappointed for not having a good time. We will also strive hard to make a lasting impression on our guests.
